The Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education (AALHE) and Watermark have formed a collaborative partnership to advance the field of learning assessment. Together, AALHE and Watermark will strive to advance assessment within higher education by:

We will work together to expand the AALHE community and provide opportunities to connect at industry events such as the AALHE Annual Conference.
We will conduct and share research on current assessment practices and trends. Our most recent joint effort was released in April 2017.
The AALHE Annual Conference is one of the best resources for assessment professionals of all levels. It provides professional development opportunities, sessions from leading thinkers in assessment, practical sessions on how to advance assessment practices, and opportunities to network and connect with others in the field. Watermark covers a portion of registration for our client institutions to attend the event.

It serves the needs of those in higher education for whom assessment is a tool to help them understand learning and develop processes for improving it. AALHE is housed at the University of Kentucky, which provides generous technical and staff support.
