Taskstream greatly expands scope of applications with winter ’09 upgrade
NEW YORK (February 25, 2009) — Taskstream introduced the latest versions of its Learning Achievement Tools (LAT) by Taskstream and Accountability Management System (AMS) by Taskstream, offering powerful new features and enhancements to advance educational excellence at its partner institutions. The new capabilities are now available to the over 500 institutions and hundreds of thousands of subscribers currently working with Taskstream.
The winter ’09 release significantly broadens the capabilities of the company’s applications to include external survey management; a comprehensive field placement module for planning and managing internships, practicum, rotations, or any other learning experience that occurs outside of the classroom; external data import capabilities to track exam scores and grade point averages alongside assessment data collected through Taskstream; and several enhancements to existing features, based on user feedback.
“At Taskstream, we take great pride in our reputation of being responsive to the needs of our community of partner institutions. We’re thrilled to offer these robust features to further enhance our industry-leading toolsets for planning, managing and demonstrating learning achievement; we’ve already had a tremendously positive response from our community about these developments,” said Webster Thompson, Taskstream’s President.
As the leading provider of Web-based solutions and supporting services to educational institutions at all levels, Taskstream releases new versions of its products, at least twice a year, continually innovating to meet the continuous improvement, assessment and accountability needs of its growing user base.
