Facing greater public scrutiny, institutions across the country need better ways to assess student learning and make necessary changes to curriculum based on assessment data. With funding from the Gates Foundation, AAC&U and SHEEO led a multi-state collaborative (MSC) to pilot an alternative approach to standardized testing that engages faculty and uses student coursework to assess learning. Hear first-hand from participants in this ground-breaking study on the benefits of this approach. See the user-friendly technology that enabled the MSC to execute its vision with few technological concerns, and learn how Taskstream supports similar initiatives within and across institutions to make assessment more meaningful and sustainable.
