About the speakers
Dr. Douglas Masterson
Douglas Masterson joined the University of Southern Mississippi in 2004 as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry. Since 2017, he has served as the Senior Associate Provost for Institutional Success, where he leads efforts to advance institutional effectiveness, institutional research, quality enhancement, and degree progress. In his role as the SACSCOC Accreditation Liaison, Dr. Masterson has implemented policies and practices that streamline curriculum development and accreditation.
John Amacker
John currently serves as Institutional Effectiveness Data Coordinator at The University of Southern Mississippi. He has over two years of experience in educational data management and accreditation compliance. His role includes supporting faculty data collection through Watermark Faculty Success and optimizing internal processes with the Workflow module. John regularly engages with leaders across campus to support strategic decision-making through faculty data and insights.
