Dr. Olamide Timothy Tawose is a tenure-track assistant professor of computer science at Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, where he also serves as the Lead Faculty Success Ambassador. He holds degrees from Ekiti State University, Nigeria (BS), the University of Bradford, United Kingdom (MS), and the University of Nevada, Reno, USA (PhD).
His research interests include high-performance distributed computing, databases, artificial intelligence, and computer security. He has presented his work at major conferences such as SIGMOD, IPDPS, and AAAI, and remains actively involved in academic and professional discussions within the computing community. Beyond research, he is deeply committed to mentoring students and broadening participation in computing.
Olamide also serves as a reviewer for respected journals and conferences, including SIGMOD, Journal of Big Data (Springer Nature), and IEEE Access. His efforts have been recognized through several awards and nominations, including the Federal Government of Nigeria Postgraduate Scholarship Overseas, UNR Graduate Dean’s Fellowship, the GSA Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award, Outstanding Graduate Student Scholarship and a recognition as one of the Most Inspiring and Enthusiastic Professors by the Student Government Association at Lincoln University.
