About the speakers
Monica Joy Krol
Monica Joy Krol brings delight and passion every day as she works through the vision and execution integrating Watermark solutions together through unified data and experiences. She is a true continuous improvement geek, and her 13+ years at Watermark are supported by her background as a Director of Institutional Research and Assessment Coordinator. When she is not working for Watermark, she engages daily in her creative pursuits, including workshop facilitation for strategy and alignment. She currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with her husband and two young boys.
Kristian Manrique
Kristian Manrique leads growth design at Watermark, where he shapes how academic leaders experience the company’s AI-powered products. He has spent over a decade at the intersection of design, product, and strategy, most recently building Watermark’s first AI product experiences, including the work behind Instructor Insights, Currents and Academic Momentum. His focus is turning complex institutional systems into tools that help deans and program directors see their programs clearly and act with confidence. When he isn’t working, he brings that same drive to the volleyball court, where he plays competitively in the San Antonio, TX area.
