NEW YORK— December 5, 2019 –Watermark, a pioneer in educational intelligence, is pleased to announce a new master agreement for Maine’s public university system. As a result of its existing work and partnerships with institutions in the state, Watermark has implemented a new system-wide agreement that makes it easier for the state’s seven public universities to adopt Watermark’s solutions for improving student and institutional outcomes.

“It’s important to us to be proactive in supporting our partners. In this case, we’re looking to remove barriers and help ease the procurement process, so that institutions within the University of Maine System can more easily adopt the kind of technology that drives improvements in student success and institutional effectiveness. We are committed to supporting our clients and helping them meet the challenges of using data to make meaningful improvements across all levels of their institutions,” said Lenny Izzo, Chief Client Officer for Watermark.

This master agreement underscores Watermark’s commitment to helping colleges and universities improve learning through educational intelligence. The company looks forward to instituting other statewide master agreements to streamline the process for procuring Watermark’s technology and providing institutions with easier access to the kind of actionable data needed to support student success, monitor quality, and meet accreditation needs.

The company currently supports over 1,700 higher education institutions with its innovative solutions for planning, assessment, ePortfolios, faculty activity reporting, course evaluations and institutional surveys, as well as curriculum, catalog, and syllabus management — so they can meet the challenges of assessing student learning and improving outcomes across the institution.
