“In the spirit of continuous improvement, a migration from Taskstream LAT to Watermark Student Learning & Licensure with Canvas integration for Gen Ed Assessment occurred over the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters. As a result, we saw an increase of nearly 1,000 student submissions from the prior year. This is promising, as it is indicative of Student Learning & Licensure’s ease of use for students and provides faculty increased access to invaluable student performance data that informs continuous improvement efforts.”
Judy J. Dix, M.Ed., Director of Educational Assessment and Accreditation, Zucker Family School of Education at The Citadel – Former TaskStream LAT client
“With Student Learning & Licensure, we’re able to centralize our data collection. So where things were kind of drifting off to, you know, having pre-post tests in Microsoft Forms or completing them in our LMS, we’re able to bring them back into one central location. We are also able to start aligning our rubric criteria and exam items with learning outcomes. That’s something we could kind of do in TK20, but the reporting side was pretty limited. So this really opened up a lot of opportunities for being able to report by learning outcomes for different departments or accreditation standards. It also gave us the opportunity to compare data sets side by side. Looking year to year, we could compare rubric data or different classes or different demographics. It gave us a lot of opportunity for that sort of disaggregation of data.”
Anna Munns Engdahl, Director of Assessment, University of Jamestown – Former TK20 client
“Watermark helps me capture and organize all of the information I need. It’s right at my fingertips, and I can pull in other people and show them, ‘here’s where we’re being successful, here’s where we are falling short.’ It really helps the continuous improvement process. Working with faculty and programs to achieve their goals is really fulfilling.”
Brian Filipiak, Administrative Associate, Academic Services, Eastern Michigan University – Former LiveText client
