Watermark understands institutions’ need to provide accessible software products to their faculty, staff and students, and our product development makes every effort to provide software that gives all users the same, complete access to Watermark systems.

Watermark is committed to producing and maintaining systems that support criteria for accessibility. Watermark systems incorporate many best-in-class accessibility practices with assistive technologies in compliance with Federal Section 508 guidelines and W3C WCAG recommendations, as applicable:

  • Optimization for easy keyboard navigation
  • Screen readers and screen enlarging software
  • ARIA, screen reader-only text, and enhanced focus indicator
  • Labels for all form fields, images, table actions, and tooltips
  • High-contrast color setting

Additionally, our product development also incorporates feedback from accessibility experts and people with disabilities who tested our software for optimal usability. Note that some optional services and third-party plug-ins used in conjunction with our software may not be covered by this Accessibility Statement. Full details on all accessibility features can be found in our VPAT documents, available upon request.

Watermark is always improving as new technologies emerge, and we strive to evolve our tools to support the widest audience possible. We encourage users to contact our Support team with any feedback or concerns, so that we can address inquiries quickly.
