Taskstream Announces New Functionality to Advance Learning Outcomes Assessment

January 22, 2015 – New York, NY Taskstream, the leading assessment, accreditation, and e-portfolio software provider to higher education institutions, announced the release of new functionality to advance learning outcomes assessment.

In addition to offering several enhancements for current users of the company’s market-leading assessment solution with its most recent product release earlier this month, Taskstream introduced new scoring and reporting functionality that leverages responsive design and new backend technology.

The first users to experience this new design include faculty and staff at over 80 two-year and four-year institutions participating in the Multi-State Collaborative to Advance Learning Outcomes Assessment (MSC), as well as leaders from The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) and State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO).

With active support from AAC&U and SHEEO, the MSC is a nine-state pilot effort that seeks to create a nationally scalable approach to assessment based on faculty judgments of authentic student work using the AAC&U VALUE rubrics.

According to Taskstream’s Vice President for Product Management, Jeff Reid, “This new design sets a higher standard for ease-of-use and faculty productivity when scoring student work online and will see expanded use as we make these new features more generally available later in the year.”
