Recognizing Outstanding Achievement in Educational Technology Products and Companies
AUSTIN, Texas – June 9, 2021 – Watermark, a leading higher educational intelligence software provider, today announced that Placement Management for Via by Watermark is the winner of the “Overall Career Prep Solution of the Year” award in the third annual EdTech Breakthrough Awards program. The Award was made by EdTech Breakthrough, the awards program sponsor, a prominent market intelligence organization recognizing top companies and solutions in the global educational technology market.

Placement Management is designed for Educator Preparation Programs, to help coordinators match students with sites and mentors in the field. It integrates data from the National Center for Education Statistics database with selection criteria directly from each teacher candidate. Placement coordinators can then easily determine the best potential teaching sites for the candidate and match them with the site that will best meet their needs to gain excellent experience in diverse student, school, and community settings.
